What is NDIS?

The NDIS offers funding to qualified individuals with disabilities, enabling them to enjoy increased time with loved ones, enhanced self-reliance, opportunities to acquire new skills, pursue employment, engage in volunteer work within their communities, and ultimately, elevate their overall quality of life.

Moreover, the NDIS serves as a vital link for individuals with disabilities to access various community services. This encompassing support network connects them to healthcare professionals, local community groups, sports clubs, support organizations, libraries, schools, and provides comprehensive information on the assistance offered by state and territory governments.

Presently, the NDIS extends its support to over 500,000 Australians living with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary services and aid they require. This assistance includes catering to approximately 80,000 children facing developmental delays, emphasizing early interventions to pave the way for optimal outcomes across their lifespan.
